Issue ten introduction
Yes, here comes another newsletter from the creators of The Chronicles of Spellborn. The subtitle for this edition could be “short and sweet”. We decided to focus on our regular items, like the next Dev Chat, our “find the Hoppies” contest, the Fansite overview and the FanArt submissions in this edition. Yes, that means we will not have exclusive insights in the game or the latest happenings this time. I am sure you all want to know why, eh? Well, we have already shown you so much of the game that our developers can’t keep up with creating new stuff. ;) On a more serious note: One of our principles here is show stuff only when it’s finalized and thus ready to be shown. We do not want you to have expectations we will not be able fulfill in the end. That’s why this edition does not include any exclusive material. There is no need to worry though, we are about to finish up a lot of parts and Issue 11 should once again be brimming with new material.

TCoS Dev Chat 5
We’re going to bring you a new Dev Chat every two weeks until release. The fifth session of the series is scheduled for Sunday the 25th of June at 21:00 CEST. Each chat will be held in Q&A format with our QAbot open to receive questions starting 18:00 CEST and during the chat. To participate or read along, you simply have to join #spellborn-qa on our IRC server: irc://irc.tcos.com. More details about the network and services are available on our website. A log from each Dev Chat will be made available on TCoS.com after each session.
The upcoming chat will focus on the three caster classes in The Chronicles of Spellborn. Our Game Designer and Classes Mastermind Coen “Co-N” Neessen will once again join the session to answer your question.
Fansite corner
It’s rather calm on the fansite front these days. A good time to remind you about our regular developer blogs on our recognized fansites. You really should pay them a visit to see what’s going on in the dev’s life.
FanArt Submissions
In this section we show you how you can get that immersive feel of TCoS’ universe thanks to FanArt submissions provided by our members. If you’ve got some creative juices flowing in you, make sure to submit your own work on the forums!
Weeks after weeks we discover new talents in our community providing us with great artwork. Community member astraldeva shows us her drawing skills with a gorgeous female mage model. So gorgeous, it looks like original TCoS artwork. Feel this subtle TCoS touch here.
